gle is the tie shrug from Sarah Dallas' Scottish Highland Knits. I just have to knit on the two tie ends and it will be finished. I am knitting it in some Rowanspun 4 ply that I had stashed away. It is knit with the yarn double on nos. 13 and 8. The bands are where it is knit on no 8 needles which gives it a "tight" look. I might get it done this week-end.
My second project is a cross stitch picture of two of my favorite things, cats and books. I used to do a lot of cross stitch but gave it up over time. TOOMA is going to be gone during the week this year so I decided to go back to my cross stitch. This design is by Anagram Diffusion, one of my favorite designers and is called Livres Chat Rouge. It is very simple to stitch so it is a good way for me to get back in the groove!
