I'm back from my week-end in the city. First we went to a Christmas Party at the
Crystal Plaza in Livingston NJ. That was just a wonderful party, great food lots of nice people and a great atmosphere. Saturday we went into the city which was a mistake. What a zoo. Here is what Rockefeller Center looked like.
Then we took an invigorating (because it was freezing) walk through Central Park to get away from all the crowds.
Lastly we went to see the Rembrandt Exhibit at the Metropolitan Musem. The crowds weren't quite as bad there so we were able to enjoy that quite a bit. Now I'm back to my little house where all is quiet. I don't know which I enjoy more, the quiet or all the things to do in NYC. I do know I won't go back there on a week-end before Christmas again. I haven't seen that many tourists since we went to San Francisco. Now to get back to catching up.
